In die Ferien fahrend, nach Sardinien, machten wir Halt auf einer Autobahnraststätte. Ich sah die Kassette des 1987 erschienenen Albums KICK der INXS und habe es auf der Stelle gekauft, um es während der Reise hören zu können. Ich habe sonst nie Kassetten gekauft und INXS waren sonst auch nicht unbedingt so richtig mein Ding.

Jahre später sollte ein Kollege von mir noch von dieser Kassette erzählen, die ich unbedingt und auf der Stelle haben musste.

1997 wurde der Leadsänger von INXS Michael Hutchence tot in seiner Hotel-Suite aufgefunden. Wieder kam mir dieser Einkauf in Sinn... Und wie Worte einen berühren können, tief in einem.
